"The so called controller is testing us, I was thinking of the mountains, but if we climb them to the top, we are bound to be dead before we even reach the top. but if the controller wanted us. why would he even send us here to freeze to death?"
"Oh and past Doctor? Your future is hectic," Doctor Zai said.

One of the Cybermen walked over to the Cyberleader.

"I realised that myself, but thank you... myself," the Doctor replied, hesitating a bit on that last word. "Time-travel rather muddles the personal pronouns, doesn't it? Especially when meeting yourself..."
Romana looked up and down the mountain, trying to make out anything in the thick snow - more and more of it seemed to be falling as time went by.
"There's a cave over there!" she called to the two Doctors. "If we're going to talk, we should at least do it in there - we might freeze to death if we stay out here!"

The Cyberleader watched the three Time Lords for a brief moment before turning away from the screen - they weren't in its hands anymore, after all.
"He is like us, he will survive," it said, after a brief moment. "Analysis does not include random factors however - the Mountains show many lifeforms."

"Wait something is not right, this place is controlled by them. now I'm a Doctor and i say, that cave being there is there on purpose. I don't see any lifeforms down there, so if its snowing... they're here. I don't feel right about that cave. Trust me, Romana!" Doctor Zai said.

"There is something about that Doctor, Cyberleader, it does not feel right at all. We detect hardly any data on him, except that he is the Doctor. What do we do now, Cyberleader? "

"Then what do you propose we do, if you're the genius amongst us?" Romana asked, brushing the snow out of her eyes. "Our species can last out here in the snow for a number of hours, yes, but that isn't advised... especially since our visibility is so terrible whilst up here."
A roar echoed around the mountaintops before dying away, the horned footprints of a Yeti wandering off into the distance - in the opposite direction to the three Time Lords.
"That's a Yeti," pointed out the other Doctor, just in case his future incarnation had forgotten. "We don't know if it's friendly or fierce, though - I've - we've -... I've met some lovely Yeti in my time, they once gave me a lift down the Himalayas..."

"He is the Doctor, that is all we need to know," replied the Cyberleader, moving to busy himself with the next transferral. "We now move on - he is now out of our control, we need not bother with him."

Doctor Zai then fell backwards into the snow crashing down. Whilst everything around him going blury, then a vision appeared in his mind from the future. All he could hear were loud voices in his head.
"Don't die on me!" It sounded like him. He moved his head right and left losing complete concentration.

"It looks like the effects of the Time Scoop are wearing off," the other Doctor commented, watching his future self squirming about on the floor. "He's remembering, I can feel parts of my memories being opened up... not precisely what I want!"
The pain of losing Peri was still too fresh, the fact that he might have killed her terrified him... it was one of those things that he wanted to forget, but knew he never could. But at least this other Doctor was remembering things - he might be able to recognise his other companions soon, or get into contact with his other nine incarnations... somehow.

"Peri..." the Doctor mumbled and then his vision became clear. He got up slowly. "We need to speak with our old companions myself. Look, Romana, I'll find you again soon, trust me on this. I know you two can find away out of here, there are a couple off things I need to sort out on my own. Take him with you. I'll be with you again soon."
Doctor Zai had some of his memory back and knew very well what he was saying, he just hoped Romana would understand. The last time they split it was years ago, and until today they never really saw each other again... except for in other incarnations, of course.

The Doctor and Romana watched Zai disappear into the snows, leaving the two of them alone... and quite freezing, truth be told.
"His mind's still in pieces," Romana commented, watching his footprints fading away as the snow continued to fall. "...He should be safe, though, as long as we don't die."
The two of them set off towards a sheltered place, where they'd be able to get out of the snow and make themselves warmer - they might be able to make a fire, as the Doctor had mentioned.
