1. No spamming.
Or smiting shall occur.
2. Limit your swearing.
Any more than five in any post will get you a warning.
Please don't abuse this rule though.
3. All OOC dialogue must be like ((this)).
It makes it far easier to tell what's being said OOC and what's being said IC.
4. If you're going to be inactive, tell us.
It makes it far easier for us. We can move your character around then, so we're not waiting ages for you to post.
Moderators will write a summary of the events for you.
5. Respect other posters' boundaries.
Basically, don't go saying their real name, where they live, ect.
6. Shorthand or 1337 speak, although readable, is discouraged.
It doesn't really fit in the RP format.
7. Don't control anybody else's character without permission.
This is known as Godmodding. It's a very bad thing to do.
8. Don't make your character a Mary Sue/Gary Stu.
A Mary Sue is a character that's so utterly perfect that everyone adores her and worships the ground she walks on. They are terrible characters and any that is submitted will be rejected.
9. Don't post in the RP forums if you haven't been approved by an Admin.
You should be able to understand that, right?
10. If you're going to put in any pairings (except Ian/Barbara), you must first discuss it with an admin.
We don't want a huge TARDIS-based love-fest. Easy enough to understand.
11. Only register if you're going to be active.
I don't want 'dead' accounts floating around. All accounts must be active in the RP.
12. Villains.
The playing of villains is a carefully controlled affair and anyone who leaks anything out about as-yet unrevealed ones faces being banned and will force me to redo the entire villain list to prevent further leaks.
To play a villain, PM the Matrix Databank with the phrase "Peoples of the universe, please attend carefully..."
You'll then be allowed into the closely guarded secret that is the forum where villains are looked into, applied for and all other stuff like that.
The rules are subject to change, but the topic will be bumped to notify any changes.
